Avvio Networks’ AM2548 multiplexes up to 8 optical data streams into a 10Gb/s data stream.

The number of ports that are multiplexed onto the 10Gb/s data stream can be dynamically changed as long as the total aggregate input does not exceed the Line side capacity.

All client ports uplink utilize user-accessible SFPs, allowing the user to select between short reach, long reach or multi-mode. 

The 10Gb/s interface XFP options include 1310nm, 1550nm, or DWDM on an ITU channel.

The AM2548 is supported by Avvio Networks’ provisioning software, providing local serial management, Telnet and SNMP management

The AM2548 is a single-width card for use in the A2050 or A2500 chassis.
