The Model A1020M can be configured as a 10Gb Ethernet or SONET regenerator, or as a physical layer repeater. It provides seamless integration with the A1040 (4 X OC48) and A1070 EDFA. It includes FEC as  a standard software configurable option and can be ordered with an extended reach (200km!) interface
